Here's a thing - all four original members of 80's badass sleaze-glam rockers, Motley Crue, are still alive! And what better way to re-affirm this fact than to release a new album that sounds every bit as alive and kicking as anything they've ever done! Saints of Los Angeles is the Crue's ninth studio album, and their first bit of work in eight years ('97's Generation Swine was less memorable).
Bassist Nikki Sixx tells us that the album is loosely based on their tell-all biography of excess, The Dirt (a must-read!); each of the thirteen tracks existing as its own mini-story that reads like a book. But does it rock? Do Hot Rods exist? We think you already know the answer. A glorious and riotous stumble down memory lane (or Sunset Strip) that will delight fans and leave sleaze rock's nay-sayers blushing as the band revisit their 80's heydays on stand-out tracks like the awesomely catchy 'Down At The Whisky', the confessional 'Face Down in The Dirt', and the dead sexy 'This Ain't a Love Song', amounting to an essential album for all those that still believe, and even those that don't.
